Māla Honey: Chocolate Mushroom Honey Infusion

Experience one of Hawaiʻi’s most unique honey creations. Our Chocolate Mushroom Honey begins with raw Hawaiian honey and is blended with rich cacao and organic fruiting body extracts of reishi, chaga, and cordyceps mushrooms all grown organically on the Big Island. The result is a smooth, chocolate-forward honey with earthy depth and virtually no noticeable mushroom flavor.

Guests on our Waipiʻo Honeybee Tour have the opportunity to sample this signature infusion during the guided honey tasting, where we explore how Hawaiian honey pairs with carefully selected botanicals.

Enjoy it stirred into coffee, espresso, hot chocolate, smoothies, oatmeal, yogurt, or spread over warm toast. It also makes a delicious finishing drizzle for fresh fruit and desserts.
